In a recent announcement, the University of Allahabad (UoA) released 192 NEP-related Skill Enhancement Courses/ Ability Enhancement Courses/ Value-Added Courses offered by various departments and centres of the university. The list includes seven courses offered by the Centre of Media Studies (CMS), which functions under the Institute of Professional Studies, UoA.

These courses are not only skill-focused for corporate development but also contribute to the traditional preparation for civil services, for which the city is renowned worldwide.
Course 1: Audio Storytelling and Podcasting by Dr Dhananjai Chopra and Mr Sachin Mehrotra


A comprehensive course to make students ready and meet industry needs for audio storytelling and podcasting. Students can prefer media entherpreneurship after learning the skills offers.

Admission
Newly admitted undergraduate students have been advised to enroll themselves in only one course of their choice, at the earliest. Admission to these courses will be on a first-come, first served basis. For CMS courses, students may consult at Media Research Cell.
Course Credit
Each course is of 2 credit and students will be benefited with it after successful completion.
