In the DUSU Central Panel elections, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) secured three out of four positions, reaffirming its strong base among students. The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), on the other hand, had to settle for just one seat on the panel.

No Position Faces Tough Competition
All 4 winners seems to have effective difference of votes from their competitor. This signifies all winners secured sweeping victory and Bhagwa Parcham.
Big Setback to Congress
This is more than just a setback to the opposition, as Congress had been ubiquitously projecting and supporting Ronak Khatri’s (former President) aggressive politics. Also, last year NSUI’s comeback on presidential position after 7 years of drought, had gave opposition a concrete stuff to project decreasing popularity of Bhagwa Politics among Gen Z.
Result Speak Volumes
The 1 year presidential duration of Mr Ronak at Delhi University went extremely popular. No week passed without an active and aggressive step, publically marking NSUI’s dedication for student welfare. But the results sent shivers down the spine proving the importance of maintaining personal connect to voters and keeping the roots strong along with holding position.
Moral of the Election
Never forget your roots: They can make you fly high, but also nipped in the bud, depends on you…
